Joining Orthopaedic Associates in August 2022, William R. Hardy, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery, including primary and revision joint replacements and joint preservation surgery. He has extensive experience with muscle-sparing direct anterior hip replacement, which allows for a much easier recovery for the patient than the traditional posterior approach. He also takes care of patients that have had problems with prior hip or knee replacements. His philosophy in practicing medicine is simple. He treats every patient like a member of his family and believes that each patient deserves individualized care.
