Dr. Brendan Southam, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, joining Orthopaedic Associates in September 2023. Dr. Southam brings a new area of expertise to the practice, focusing on all bone, joint, ligament, muscle, tendon, and nerve conditions below the knee. He has a special interest in fractures of the foot and ankle, arthritis, Achilles tendon ruptures, reconstructive surgery, bunions, total ankle replacement, and sports injuries. He also specializes in the correction of failed foot and ankle surgeries and revision procedures. Dr. Southam sees patients 12 years and older, addressing a variety of problems that are unique to each age group. He individualizes each patient’s treatment to meet their goals and returns them back to their normal activities using both surgical and non-operative methods.
